OCC Scholarship Overview

Hazel Park resident graduates are eligible to receive their first certificate or Associate’s Degree for free at Oakland Community College. This is a last-dollar scholarship, meaning students will draw from other funding sources before being awarded this scholarship.

All Hazel Park graduates attending Oakland Community College are eligible to receive up to $500 each semester for their mandatory books and supplies in their courses and programs regardless of high school graduation year. Eligible items for reimbursement include textbooks or books (physical or digital), software and technology, specialty protective or career apparel, and other school and studio supplies.
